Does not display images greater than 50kb

Asked by segal

Hi Alex,

I now have Xibo up and running hosted at Digital Pacific with a client running 1.3.1 on ubuntu 10.04.
All running successfully except for the fact that it will not display images greater than 50kb.
I can successfully load any image size to the server and the client downloads the images to the /client/python/data folder.
the larger images over 5okb only appear as a 0kb file in the /client/python/data folder and as a result the avg renderer only loops the splash screen without displaying any of the images including the smaller ones.

When I delete the data folder and remove the larger image the whole system works again as before.
I am hoping there is a file somewhere in the client or server folders where I can change that image parameter.

thanks
Dave

There's no such limitation in the client. It's been tested with files in excess of 1.5GB.

Somebody told me that I think in the ini file or php file where there is a line where you can specify the limit. I am quite new to it so I cannot point to the name of the file at present.

Alex Harrington suggests this article as an answer to your question:
FAQ #510: “How do I upload files bigger than 2MB / How can I increase the upload file size limit?”.

Can you help with this problem?
