Xibo Server and Client Together?

Asked by Barry Wood

Hi
I've just installed the Xibo Server on my laptop. Can I also have the Client installed on their as well? I need this for testing purposes only, and to demonstrate Xibo to some people. If we go for it this wouldn't be the normal configuration.

If this is possible, are there anythings to watch out for?

(I'm on Windows 7 64bit)

Entirely workabale.

You just need to make sure the TMP space for the server and Client are in two different locations. When Iset them both up on the same machine I used the keyword "_sever" and "_client" in the folder names to avoid the conflict. Works just fine like this.

As bobb says, no problem with this... make the libraries use different folders and you will be up and running (this is how we develop xibo locally)

Not sure how I'd do this, but I'll have a root about.

It seems the Server and Client are working together and I just followed the install documentation, which doesn't mention this.
