How to translate

How to translate the sentences which have the character like "<br />" in .po files.(e.g. The long sentences, selected from MySql database, in the setting pages.)

<br /> is a html code, you do not need to have it translated...

I know it.

msgid "Sets whether debug information is recorded when an error occurs.<br />This should be set to \"off\" to ensure smaller log sizes"
msgstr "abc"

By the module gettext,I cant make the sentence be replaced.I have checked the code in setting.php and am sure it is right.

I am trying to translate it in Xibo Service by using the language .mo files.

It may be that the language you are using is currently incomplete.... have a look at the translations link on this site to check

If you make the translation in Launchpad, it gets included in the next version of Xibo.
