xlf problem

my problem is alex

the client program using xibo winodws. When the client to display the new file remains empty xibo. XLF file in the library deletes them. XLF is new.
I want you
downloading the new file displayed to the old files. XLF should generate a new download is finished

You need to copy your layout, ammend the copy, and then schedule the new version. Or create a default layout that doesn't change and then schedule the layouts that you want to show. That way, the default layout will be shown while your updates download.

If you modify a layout, the client will immediately consider it invalid and drop to the default layout. If you're modifying the default layout then it will drop to the splash screen.

Like I said before. you need to schedule your layouts and have an unchanging default layout.

If you have 5 images in 1 layout and that layout is playing on the screen - but then you modify that layout by adding another image (so you have 6 images), the client will consider that layout is invalid, because it has changed.

It will delete that layout (but keep the 5 images)
Download the new image and the new layout
Restart the layout and play the images

It has to do this because the layout has changed.

If you have more than one layout playing, Xibo will play the other layouts while the one you have changed is re-downloaded.

It is the same for videos, flash or even if you just add some text to the layout.
