Can't autostart Xibo Python Client

Asked by oggi katic

Hello everybody.

First i want to say that i have a huge respect for the Xibo team, very nice and easy software..good job guys :)

now, i have read all the questions about autostart of Xibo Python Client but i cant get it to start when Ubuntu 10.04 starts up.

I have tried to edit run_always.sh and / or make a shortcut from System>Settings> Autostart

Its the last thing i need to try Xibo on 2 different clients.

I really hope somebody can help :)

Best regards.

You need to edit run_always.sh so that the line

cd /opt/xibo/pyclient/client/python

is both uncommented and pointing to the directory that contains your XiboClient.py script file.

Then add the full path to run_always.sh to your Startup Applications and it will run.
