Your client is not of the correct version for communication with this server

I have installed the xibo server 1.22 on ubuntu 11.01 but with php5 5.2.10 according to the guide. Then I installed python client 1.3.1 on another machine with ubuntu 10.04. However, the client keeps giving the "Your client is not of the correct version for communication with this server" error. I cannot see anything I have done wrong. Any advice?

P.s. Meanwhile I am downgrading my python client to 1.2.1 and see if it makes any difference. More soon.

1.3.1 server and client use additional calls to the XMDS webservice so are not compatible with earlier clients.

You either need to use 1.2.2 client or upgrade your server and other client to 1.3.1 - however 1.3.1 is a development preview release which you shouldn't really use in production.
