Xibo

New install ,can't access admin page via browser

HI
this is my fist install, gettingr error when type in browser http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/xibo , says Not Found the requested URL/xibo was not found on this server.
please if some can help, I did install on CentOs 5.7 follow all the steps mentioned in installation guide. only thing change was www-data user was replaced by apache because there was no www-data user.

Do you have Xibo as a sub folder in your web server root directory? It sounds like you missed some steps when it came to extracting the Xibo install in the correct location.

If you are not familiar with we servers,etc it might be worth considering a hosted option from the Xibo directory

Thanks for your response , i have Xibo-library at root level and xibo folder is at /var/www/xibo do you think is it on wrong location??? and in /var/www/html folder there is nothing. in browser when put the server address i get apache welcome page means that isworking fine ? please advise if some thing need to be corrected

Sounds reasonable... presumably you have something in /var/www then?

Try going to //server/xibo/index.php

You could also try moving the xibo folder into html.... I must confess im no linux expert
