It depends on how heavily you're going to load the server. RAID5 will give you more disc space with 4 drives than RAID10 will, but RAID10 will give you better performance.

It doesn't really have anything to do with Xibo - it's a general question about the advantages/disadvantages of RAID levels. Xibo mainly does sequential reads - with some random reads.

I can't answer that question. It depends on what the 20 clients are doing. Are they sending stats? What version of the clients are they? How frequently does the media change? How many users are updating the clients with new media etc etc.

The only way you can answer that question is to setup one client and one server and put real-world sample traffic through them and see how much load your usage causes. From that you can work out what kind of server you need, how much IO performance you need etc.

In that case I can't see that it'll make any difference what RAID configuration you choose.

No - it doesn't have that feature at the moment.

You can safely delete everything from the client library when the client isn't running if you want to clean it out.
