SWF Flash performance on Python Client
I can see this has been raised in the past but with a newer version of the client I'm not sure what the current status is.
I'm running v1.3.0 client on a Atom D510 (1.6GHz Dual Core), 2Gb Ram with nVidia Ion driving a 1920x1080 monitor. Ubuntu 10.04. I have loaded the latest nVidia drivers.
I have a flash SWF file (created from an animated Powerpoint slideshow) which runs smoothly fullscreen in Firefox but is quite jerky in Xibo. It gets worse if I run it in a smaller region with an RSS feed running alongside (not surprising I suppose). If I reduce the resolution to 960x540 it runs fine, but obviously doesn't look so good.
Any thoughts?
