Website with user auth - connection sharing possible?
Hi,
I plan to use Xibo as a "production control device".
Information:
We have one client configured as a virtual desktop over 4 Displays. I take a resolution of 5120x1024 on the client. The template with the total size of 5120x1024 have every 1280x1024 a region- so one Xibo Client drives 4 Displays with USB VGA Graphik Cards from "Manhattan".
It works absolutely fine!
The same commercial systems are very expensive - one display up to 8.000€!

The Xibo System --> 1000€! :-)
Problem:
But now, Im looking for a feature, so that Xibo shows 4 different Websites with User Auth. The PASS are into the URL.
After the user auth, the Webserver knows, which information Xibo shows on one of the 4 Displays (regions). The problem is, that every logged in user, becomes the same Informations from the server. Xibo, or Internet Explorer/Firefox shows always the same info on every Display or Tab. This is absolutley normal so the webserver serves out one communication session, for one client session.
To become the right information for each user on one client, its only possible when i start the Internet Explorer with the function " iexplore.exe -nomerge". So all works fine! The webserver gaves one session for one opened browser window--> session sharing.
My question is, is it possible to get a "-nomerge" feature into Xibo when he opens a url?
Maybe a registry hack?
sincerely, Joerg
