Disconnect from the internet?

sir good day,
when requirexmds=false and disconnect my Internet connection then my python client play only the default layout. here is my config.
1. I have 2 layouts each total of 120 second
2. xmdsupdateinterval=120
3. requirexmds=false
4. Interleave default is off

is there any configuration that we missed?

PS. and sometimes we need to press "i" then "r" connecting from my server to look new updates.

Please can you show a log showing this happening. The download and
player logic are separate so there's no reason that disconnecting the
network cable would make any difference - except that media hosted
remotely (eg websites) will stop working.

Can you help with this problem?
