embed swf digital clock

what proper implementation for embedding digital clock from my layout, say layout1 that last a total of 2minutes and layout2 total of 3minutes, so then my duration of my digital clock (swf) from layout1 is 2minutes and layout2 I put 3minutes the duration. is this proper way of doing this? what if I put 4minutes to the duration of digital clock, what would happen after 4minutes?

You download a digital clock of your choice, and then use the Flash
media type to put it on the layout...

then the duration depend the overall total of my layout1 let say 3minutes total of 1 layout, so the duration of digital clock would be end to 3minutes?

If the swf is the only media item in the region then the duration
doesn't really matter, so long as it's shorter than the longest
running region.
