Firstly you should be running 1.2.2 client with 1.2.2 server.

Secondly you need to go in to the server under Management -> Displays
and license the display before it will work.

Please have a look at the Windows client install guide which goes in
to more details about adding clients.

You need to license the client in your server. It should now appear on the
display management page.

Running the client automatically registers it with the server. It then
appears in the list so you can license it.

Have you chosen a client name with Unicode characters in it?

What happens if you go to http://192.168.2.2/xibo from the client pc?

Did you get the latest server files from Launchpad?

The client will register the first time you run it with the server. You just need to open the display management section in the server console and license the display in the same way you did for the Windows client.

Try changing your xmdsclentid, perhaps there was a problem adding the current one that is preventing it from being seen in the admin interface
