SHOW_DISPLAY_AS_VNCLINK

Hi,

is there any way (maybe in a future release) that the "SHOW_DISPLAY_AS_VNCLINK" is possible on every client?

We have startet a pilot project and have different (16:9 - 4:3) displays.
With a vnc link to every client, was a nice feature for a remote sight do the different displays.
(Fits the layout the screen?)

At this time, I would make a link library on a html site like:

CLIENTNAME - POSITION - DISPLAY 4:3 --link:5800
CLIENTNAME - POSITION - DISPLAY 16:9 --link:5800

So I'm looking for a "feature" when we add a display, that Xibo automatically makes a vnc link to this ip in the display management.

I don't think I really understand what you're asking. Xibo already
makes the display name into a clickable link of your choosing via the
configuration variables that you've specified.

So if you set SHOW_DISPLAY_AS_VNCLINK to "vnc://%s" it will make the
display name in to a link with the url vnc://192.168.0.1 for example.

Hi,

thanks for your fast reply!

I'm a *diot! I fill up the IP from _one_ client into the vnc-target.
Now i tried "%s" and this is the feature that I mean.

On the client i added the display once more again to the xibo server - now it works!
