Transparencey of Web Pages

Asked by Patrick Healy

Hi,

I've created a layout with an image file as the background. I then want to position 2 websites side-by-side on the layout. When I do this, the web sites occlude the image behind them.

I've changed the web page to use a background color of 'transparent' and this has no affect. When I switch to using a 'transparent' image file as the background of the web pages, it also has no affect.

Has anyone created a web page that allows the background layout image to show through? Any thoughts on how I might do the same?

Thanks!

Pat

It will only work in the 1.2 series of xibo with the Linux client. When adding your webpage you'll see a tick box for background transparency. The windows client cannot do this.

If you can foist the webpage content into an embedded media item, that might work for you.
