Changing the client splashscreen

Am I allowed to change the client splashscreen with our own company logo, if yes, how can i do it ?

Yes you are allowed to do it - but bear in mind that the AGPLv3 license requires you to provide the source code to the application to your customers along with a copy of the license.

So long as you remain within the terms of the license, there's no problem.

To change the splash screen, you need to download the client source code (link from the login page of your Xibo server) and change the image in there before recompiling the client.

If you can't figure it out, I can put you in touch with someone who can do it for you on a per-hour charge basis.

Hmm, I was looking for a way to swap out the default background myself.

What about using a smaller XIBO logo in the corner of the display (that is compiled in (like it is currently) on top of some other localized splashscreen for the client that could be configured from the client control, you could still leave the larger image in the background by default and compile in the smaller logo version. This should satisfy the Licensing requirements, and still allow for a configuration of a localized splashscreen.

I did see the reference to a JPEG in the PDB file in the XIBO client install. But I don't have experience with compiling on windows . . .
