Transitions between text items

I have created a region with 2 text items.
How can I set a transition between these to text items?

Xibo doesn't have any support for transitions yet.

If you put both items in the same region then it will swap between them automatically, but there won't be a transition.

Actually, whilst playing around with the RSS ticker for the first time today, I have noticed that whenever the "direction" option is set to "Single", xibo picks the rss items in a stepwise fashion WITH a fading effect. Real cool. Furthermore, this would be a very nice addition to normal text regions as well (the "single" option is not availble for these regions).

The python client already has support for some basic transitions built in, but there's no server that can generate the required xlf yet. It will come in time.
