Layout add region

I've installed the xibo server and I've watched the video tutorial on http://wiki.xibo.org.uk/wiki/Manual:Layouts:Video_Tutorial where is shown the procedure to design a layout.
The problem is that in the version of xibo I've installed (the latest stable release 1.0.6) I can't manage regions and positioning of contents. When I right click on the designer the only options I have are Timeline, Options, Delete. There is no Add region option. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

If you're seeing the Timeline/Options/Delete then you're right clicking on a region.

To add a new region, resize your existing region to make space for the new region, and then right-click the layout background to add in a new region.

Note also that stacking regions on top of each other won't work with the Windows .net client.
