Linking to text file

Love the software, it has ticked all the boxes bar one.

We want to have a setup in that a member of admin staff alters a simple txt file stored in central storage and then the contents of that tt file is display in a region on the screen.

We do not want the admin staff to be able to access admin area of xibo in anyway we have been there in the past and thing get messed up.

Or is there any other way in that a memeber of staff can update a line of txt for example daily bulliten and it then be read by xibo

You could pull in a webpage if you wanted, or have them update something that generates rss.

Xibo doesn't support pulling from a textf file.

You could set them up a user account that only has access to one layout - then there's very little that can be broken.
