i cant see video on pyclient whit ubuntu 9.10

all codec is present...

Do you have Compiz enabled?

If disabling Compiz (ie Desktop Effects) doesn't solve it then I'll need alot more information:

Client Version
Hardware you're running on - especially details of the graphics card
Full output from debug level 10 for a run where the video is played.
