Regions with different durations

I have a layout with 2 regions.. each containing text. I have one region set for a 5 second duration and the other region set for 15 second duration. The problem is they both stay on for 15 seconds. Is there a way to make the first region of text go away after 5 second duration it is set for instead of staying on for the full 15 seconds that the second region is set for?

I think I my have found my own answer. I don't believe after reading the following that it is possible.

"Enter a duration in seconds for the text to be on the layout. Note that if this is the only media item in a region, then this is the minimum amount of time the text will be shown for as the total time shown will be dictated by the total run time of the longest-running region on the layout."

I can do what I wanted by adding the text to the same region and adjusting using the timeline.

Hi Roger

What you could have done is add a second text item after the 5 second one containing only a space character and with a duration of 10 seconds.

That would have given you the effect you were after.
