Problem with Xibo Client

Asked by Antonio Barroso

I have two computers system. One server (Xibo 1.0.6) and one client (Xibo 1.0.5)
I'm having problems configuring the xibo client.

When I attemp to register the display i get this message:

"Error en la solicitud con el código de estado HTTP 400: Bad Request"
That would be something like: "Request error with status code HTTP 400: Bad Request"

or this one:

"Error en la solicitud con el código de estado HTTP 404: Not found"
That would be something like: "Request error with status code HTTP 404: Not found"

In the "Xibo Settings" tab I have this:

URL of the Xibo Server: http://192.168.1.37

In the "Proxy Settings" tab, they ask me about username, password and domain, but i don't know what do i have to enter here.

I know that my network skills are not very good, but i'm trying to learn. I would appreciate it if anybody can help me.

Thanks in advance.

On the Xibo options dialog what happens if you click on the "Display Admin" button. This button should open your default browser and navigate to the Xibo Server address automatically.

If this doesn't work then your address must be wrong.

The address you put in must be the same address you use to get to the Server Admin pages - maybe you have Xibo installed in a "xibo" folder? In which case the address would be http://192.168.1.37/xibo

"must be the same address you use to get to the Server Admin pages" is an important distinction. Please change the Install Guide NET Client > Configuration > instructions from "enter "http://localhost/xibo" or similar" to "must be ..." I thought it was enough to have /xibo, but in my case needed to add the install path of the server: /xibo-server-142. Thanks

If you're following the complete install guide then the address we give is
correct.

Or similar is for those who want to use a non-standard folder name as you
have opted to.
