cannot load a ppt region

Looked through most of the suggested answers but couldn't find what i was looking for. I am running server 1.1.0 and client 1.0.5 both in a Windows XP environment. When I click on a powerpoint module to add to the empty region, nothing happens (like no box or anything, just goes back to the layout. If I select all the other options, it would pop up with the box to add to the layout.
