Dual Screen setup and Content Display

Asked by Ravi

Hi,

We have the following configuration.

nVidia card for dual monitor/screen setup in my system
32 LCD display screen

We have connected LCD to system using VGA Card.

We wanted to redirect our Xibo client display to the LCD display screen than displaying in the same computer monitor. We were able to display notepad, ms office applications and other programs but not Xibo Client applicaiton

Please help us to redirect the content display to LCD display.

Regards,
Ravi

Hi Ravi

The client will open by default on the default monitor. So if the client needs to open automatically on your LCD screen then the only way is to change your LCD to be the default monitor.

If both monitors should show the same thing then you need to tell your nVidia display application that you want to clone the outputs.

If you don't mind starting Xibo manually then you can create a shortcut to the Xibo application, drag that on to the LCD screen and then double click it. I've not tested that recently but I think the application should open on the screen you launched it from.

Hi Alex, I have created a shortcut on the second Monitor, work fine when I click and run from the shortcut; but when I restart and the xibo .net client start automatically it still display on the primary monitor. Is there a way to force the xibo client to display on the secondary Monitor?

Look in the Advanced options in the client. You can configure the window size and position that it starts up in from there.

Hi,

Creating the shortcut in t the target monitor works great! Thanks for the info.

Still, I'd like to use Advanced options instead using the "last chance" solution - even I appreciate its existence. However, nothing changes when I set Client Offset X.

Am I missing something?
Version: 1.6.0

Thank you!

You can create a shortcut for this by the advance option of your screen .if anyone facing a problem with ms-office like a setup issue, installation issue and other issue and wants to solve this problem then you can easily take help from this site http://www.msofficetechnicalsupportnumbers.com/blog/fix-xbox-error-code-0x8027025a/ It always provides a good solution of the ms-office related problem.
