caching webpages

Asked by Marcel Winters

Hello,

I'm using 1 layout with 1 region, which will rotate 4 to 5 fullscreen webpages. When changing webpages the background is visible for a short period (duration varies every time).

To me it seems, that this period is de url retrieval of the webpages. Is this correct and if so is it possible to preload te webpages or use a caching period?

regards,
Marcel

Hi

The browser used is IE and it will use its cache to speed up loading if the pages allow that.

It's not possible to pre load the pages so there may be short periods where the region is empty and therefore you can see the background image.
