installing inside windows

i tried to install ubuntu 9.10 from the original cd ,so when i try to install inside windows it shows an error message showing permission denied fore more information look into log file.can anyone help.

it may be the CD the main cause
try installing directly from the internet:
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
