i need to uninstall the ubuntu virtual partition, how please?

I need to uninstall the ubuntu virtual partition for ubuntu 9.10. I cant find how and where to uninstall it.

Are you asking for a wubi install? If so it is not a partition it is a program. Go to add remove programs to remove

On a regular install just insert a LiveCD and delete the partition or use a partitioning tool

i did that but when i reboot my computer it still asks if i want to run ubuntu,

In Windows XP you need to edit C:\boot.ini and delete the Ubuntu/Wubi line.

For Vista, you can use EasyBCD to edit the boot menu.

Alternatively you can modify the boot menu via control_panel > system > advanced > startup_and_recovery and pressing "Edit".
