wubi fails to install on xp x64

After download of wubi i'm trying to install ubuntu 9.10 on windows xp x64 sp2,
the installacin process runs but when i'm asked to reboot nothing happens.
When I'm rebooting manualy the system boots to windows whithout recognizing the ubuntu.
The same thing happens when installing with wubi and iso file,
Please help.
