I want to develop Mubi

I have an Intel Mac and want to help develop Mubi, but I haven't been able to find any information on where to begin, especially concerning booting from a loopmounted image. Do you have any information on how this is possible on an Intel Mac (which uses EFI)? Thanks.

Mubi will most likely use grub2 + efi (see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=995704), but because we do not have full write access to HFS+, it is likely that mubi will work more like bootcamp, i.e. resizing the existing osx partition and targeting the newly created partition.
