Installing over dialup is a world of pain.

You might consider downloading wubi and the relevant iso at a net cafe, or perhaps doing the install there.

There's always a danger of damaging existing systems when making structural changes.

The wisdom of cold hard experience says to back up your existing system beforehand.

Mark Robinson, Thanks for answering my Question.But now, i have requested a Free CD from Ubuntu.Through the CD, i will install it within my windows.(Is there any option on the CD like this "INSTALL INSIDE WINDOWS"?).Now, will it be safe to install in this way?

@simpleman,

Yes, there should be an "install inside windows" option. As Mark Robinson said, there is always a certain risk involved with installing software like this, so back up everything with something like Clonezilla or Norton Ghost. However, the reward of using WUBI far outweighs the risk. A WUBI install is generally safe. I have installed WUBI on many different PCs, and haven't had a problem with any of them.

It should be safe to install WUBI. Just make sure you back up everything.

Hope this helps!
