I have had the same problem. Whenever you try to boot a wubi Ubuntu install and have a firewire device plugged in the booting process will hang (for install or just normally) and go into busybox. The problem seems to be that having the firewire device plugged in causes some sort of change in the UUID of the root.disk file, causing the mount of that file to (and thus the system) to fail.

Hope that this information is useful.

I do not have a firewire device plugged in though.

I would need further information, if you boot in verbose mode there should be a /casper.log file accessible from busybox

When I boot in verbose mode I can find no file /casper.log from busybox.

I am sorry it is rollback rx pro. Wubi could not see any of its files. Now I know how it works. It has some kind of driver windows uses. can that be intergrated into wubi?

If that is available as a kernel module then probably yes, but it is not something that depends on wubi per se'

Can you help with this problem?
