Successful Install, Unsuccessful Boot....

Hi, i recently discovered Wubi and immediately liked the idea. I downloaded it, installed it to a Secondary drive and rebooted. I selected "Ubuntu" as the OS to load and was greeted by a CLI. 2 lines of text appeared (can't remember what they read) then disappeared, leaving behind a blank black screen and a flashing underscore. No form of input from my keyboard seems to affect this state and i have tried leaving it alone (just incase it was taking long) but to no avail. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you.
