Wubi

installing Ubuntu using Wubi in a windows 8 machine...

i got windows 8 machine little before xmas and its a tower so no touch screen and a lot of my programs are incompatible with it i tryed unetbootin and did not work any ideas?

I would reccomend using a live DVD, you will need to buy a blank DVD, and download the ubuntu desktop edition and write it to the cd, using an ISO writer, then boot from the cd to install, wubi is only for trying ubuntu, and does not work that well.
