using windows installer after download error 2 the system canot find the file specified

i download ubuntu using window installer on a dell inspiron 3800 and after a 2 and half down load i ge an error 2 message saying the system cannot find the file specified and will not open or work at all any ideas, did thid twice now and same thing happens.

I suggest you download the ISO, MD5 test the ISO then burn the ISO to a CD as slowly as possible (or use unetbootin to use a USB stick or SD card).

It sounds like the download failed. When Wubi fails you can look in the logfile which is in the %TEMP% directory, or pastebin it if it's unreadable to you.

If you're having internet connection issues, you can download the desktop ISO yourself (using bittorrent is the easiest) and save the ISO in the same folder as wubi.exe before running.
