Missing metalink for downloading Kubuntu through Wubi
I am trying to download Kubuntu through Wuby but I get an error in the log:
07-22 17:13 DEBUG TaskList: New task get_metalink
07-22 17:13 DEBUG TaskList: ### Running get_metalink...
07-22 17:13 DEBUG downloader: downloading http://
07-22 17:13 ERROR CommonBackend: Cannot download metalink file http://
07-22 17:13 DEBUG downloader: downloading http://
07-22 17:13 ERROR CommonBackend: Cannot download metalink file2 http://
07-22 17:13 DEBUG TaskList: ### Finished get_metalink
07-22 17:13 ERROR TaskList: Cannot download the metalink and therefore the ISO
Indeed, when I try accessing the above links in my browser I get 404.
I know that the 12.04 or later images are available at http://
Thank you,
Kima

That is because link you are accessing is not available .. it has been removed so you are getting 404 please revist download page of ubuntu.. and check path
Thanks

Thx Jeet.
When I downloaded the ISO and placed it in the same folder as Wuby.exe it worked fine. The problem is when someone tries to use Wby to download the ISO it fails to find the metalink since it was removed from the location Wuby is looking at. Not a big deal but it would be good to support Wuby downloading the correct ISO automatically.
