Wubi

Cannot install Ubuntu 12.04 using wubi

I tried installing the Ubuntu 12.04 in my laptop running Windows 7 x 64 bit. First tried with the ISO on CD, later using Wubi Installer directly online. But after initial installation step there appears some error message in dialog box which contains the following error message:
An error occurred:
 Error executing command
 >>command=C:\Windows\sysnative\bcdedit.exe /set
 {1041c78c-7c40-11e1-8093-ffd32b0733e6} device partition=D:
  >>retval=1
  >>stderr=An error has occurred setting the element data.
  The request is not supported.

  >>stdout=

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?

D: is likely a dynamic drive. These are not supported by Ubuntu. See http://askubuntu.com/a/77820/14916 for more info
