how to boot two versions of ubuntu

I have a root.disk of ubuntu 10.10 (installed using wubi) and i have installed ubuntu 11.04 using wubi...So how can i boot both the operating systems (alongside windows) ???

Hi there,

you can dualboot two versions of ubuntu. I have found you a great article which will explain you pretty well how to boot two Ubuntu versions.

To boot a second root.disk please refer to this: http://ubuntu-with-wubi.blogspot.ca/2012/05/how-to-run-development-release-with.html

You will need to edit the file /etc/grub.d/40_custom as described in that link and then update the grub menu with:
sudo update-grub

If you need further help, then please provide the location (partition, directory) of each root.disk

PS I should clarify... that link refers to booting the development release of Ubuntu using Wubi. You need to refer to the Point # 3. where it talks about making the other root.disk (new.disk) bootable.
