Boot Error message.

Asked by clombard

With 11.10 install I received the following two line error message on boot:
"Try (hd,0): FAT16: NO WUBILDR"
"Try (hd,1); NTFS5: error: "prefix" is not set.

I installed 12.04 and now I receive the followong error message on boot:
"Try (hd,0): FAT16: error: "prefix" is not set"

Well at least I'm down to a one line error message but is there a way to remove
the error message on boot...?

Thanks

Seems to recommend a chkdsk of your NTFS. Worth a shot.

There's no known workaround for this. Just ignore it (it has no effect and is present on all wubi installs on every boot).

Can you help with this problem?
