Asked by 19Özgür Alkan ALKIŞ

Hello
I have just installed ubuntu from windows installer wubi. I have windows7 and Prdus 2012.2 on my comp.
After installation it rebooted and i couldn't see ubuntu on Pardus grub menu which loads itself y default.
Pardus has a startup manager to add but i couldnt be sure about the details of ubuntu installation.
in this link http://linuxsever.wordpress.com/2009/11/03/pardus-grubuna-ubuntu-9-10-eklemek/
the problem is solved but i cant find the ubuntu boot/grub/grub.cfg file to determine the details of the installation.
my question is simple:
- how can i solve this problem? namely how can i add ubuntu to pardus grub?

Just boot Windows - it will have an Ubuntu entry in the Windows Boot manager. The first time you select Windows it should automatically boot Ubuntu to complete the installation. Thereafter you'll see a choice between Win7 and Ubuntu whenever you select Windows from Pardus' grub menu.

If Pardus uses grub-legacy (0.9x) then you cannot boot Wubi directly from it's grub menu. If you're using grub2 then it's possible. I'm not familiar with Pardus but it should tell you if you go to a terminal and enter:
grub-install --version

Can you help with this problem?
