i get root@ubuntu after install Ubuntu via Wubi at very first boot

Asked by spada

I am new and have installed Ubunto via wubi (current version). No error report during installation. Restart did lead to selection of XP or ubuntu. After selection Ubunto - it will not boot into he login page. Scripts running only.....last script is:
Begin: Running / scripts/init-bottom///done
root@ubuntu:~#

That's it. What can I do? Any command to start into login page? Thx.

In what partition you installed ubuntu?
You have to separate it?

NO true partition. Just wupi installation on running XP system as recommended at Ubuntu (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide). Virtuel partitation according to installation software. After restart - Utuntu should launch....with no scripting. I got scripting that stopped at command:
root@ubuntu:~#

First of all, you need to allocate a separate partition for ubuntu
Then run LiveCD
Or divide the partitions in the LiveCD

I suggest you chkdsk your NTFS partition, make sure it is healthy
