I installed Ubuntu with wubi but it wont start.

Hi, last night I installed Ubuntu with wubi. It won't start it says "Completing Ubuntu installation" my screen goes black for 20-30 minutes. It then runs start up repair. Someone help the screenshot was pretty and I've heard good things about Ubuntu's new version.

you haven't mentioned your PC type and specs. you tried to install it by wubi. so i assume that you want a dual OS pc with both Windows and Linux. you better install it as follows:
boot the PC with the installation media. It will auto detect the existing OS and gives the option to install it alongside windows. just do partitioning manually and you are done!!!!!!

Please provide the machine specs - probably the graphics card is the most important.
Also please explain what you mean by "it runs start-up repair".

My guess is that 'nomodeset' might help in this case. See instructions here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1613132 (post #8 is specific to the Wubi first boot). If that doesn't help, then the full specs would be important.
