Grub

Asked by samuel

I install Ubuntu 11.10 with Wubi, so before the Ubuntu start ,window boot loader works first.

So, here is the problem, I set my default system Ubuntu, and change window boot loader display time to 1s.

I can't back to window now. I try to write grub.cfg to fix it, but fail.

can you gays give some advise?

note: i can't find window in that file, but when i run 'sudo update-grub', it give a result ' skiping window7 loader' back.

Try:
Hitting the Up arrow repeatedly at boot. This has been reported (unconfirmed) to fix it.
You can try F8 as well.

Otherwise, your only option is a Windows 7 repair command prompt. You can try:
bcdedit /timeout 10

Also, you could try
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu Yes

Can you help with this problem?
