Can't start ubuntu. Any ideas?

after upgrading to natty everything is fine,about a week later ubuntu starts to slow down when loading.I catch a glimpse of the splash screen,about two weeks of use i can see it longer. i then get the fallowing "no wubildr". this shows four times,the fourth is in capital letters. I then have to reinstall. WHY

message dod not help at all. very shortly i will have to reinstall natty.

Did it also say "GRLDR canot be found"?

wubi requires the file C:\wubildr to boot. If it cannot find it then this could be for a few reasons.
1. you or something else deleted it
2. severe disk fragmentation
other...?

If it's missing just copy it from the \ubuntu\winboot directory into C:\

And then it hangs after showing "Try (hd0,x) ... " four times?

Try booting into windows and defragging if C:\wubildr is still there.
