Wubi

wubi does not go beyond ubuntu-11.04-desktop-i386.iso.torrent

Whenitry to install ubuntu installer it takes the details like password and the disk partician and runs till ubuntu-11.04-desktop-i386.iso.torrent but after that the window waits asking us to please wait. But it does not complete the installation even we wait for a whole day. My system is Windows XP professional sp 3, Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.8GHz 512 MB of RAM. How can I Install Ubuntu Installer on my system ?

Your question is not clear. Did you downloaded Iso image of Ubuntu 11.04. And did you write that ISO file to CD or made it to Bootable USB ? Or are you trying to install through iso.torrent file. since Torrent file doesn't install Ubuntu.. you have to use Unetbootin to convert the downloaded file to a CD or a Bootable USB.

Please post the contents of the wubi-11.04-rev211.log file (from the %temp% directory). To get there, hit START and enter %temp%

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide#Installation for how to install. I recommend downloading the CD desktop ISO yourself and placing it in the same folder as wubi.exe before running.
