Struggling to load Ubuntu in Win7

Asked by RYAN MATTHEWS

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre, am struggling to boot from USB an option which has been excluded in BIOS or from a Ubuntu Boot CD.
If I run in Windows 7, Demo and Full Installation or Install inside Windows it gives the following error the saying:
An error occured:

Could not retrieve the required installation files

For more information, please see the log file:
c:\users\rsd7\appdata\local\temp\wubi-11.04-rev211.log

Cannot see the root appdata once inside c:\users\rsd7

Can someone give me some advice how to install Ubuntu on this PC in Windows or better on its own.
Regards
Ryan

Hello

So to install Ubuntu on your pc you have the choice you can install it in Dual-Boot (next to your windows) and could be one of your two operating system.
For your BISSO of windows 7 should defuse the to start your pc you made normally F2 and you verify that demare in 1 cd.
