dual boot problem for ubuntu 10.04 with xp

i have installed ubuntu in windows .After installation is complete (and configuring system is complete too) when the pc reboots,i get option for dual booting.But if i choose ubuntu and after pressing enter it shows a option - windows XP (no ubuntu !!!)and selecting it guides me to the previous menu....How can i boot from ubuntu?

You probably pressed "SKIP" while you were installing. This is a known bug and the only solution is to reinstall.
