Wubi

run wubi get error

when I run latest version wubi, but geted error "windows-no disk exception processing messag c0000013 parameter 75b6bf7c475b6bf7c75b6bf7c" I can not closed the error message windows, I can not go next step, I forced to restart computer and tryed to run wubi again and the same error message. any help is appreciation. my OS is windows xp media cnter edition

Are you attempting to install version 9.04 of Wubi? That version is no longer supported (and support for 8.04 and 9.10 will soon be over). So if that is the case, you should try installing Wubi 10.04 or Wubi 10.10 instead.

If you're using one of those versions and this problem occurs, try disabling any SD card reader devices in the Device Manager before launching the Wubi installer. See http://art.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1412802 and bug 365881 for more information.

If that still doesn't work, please post again (in this question, not by starting a new one).

Agree with what Eliah Kagan said. Also if you need to kill it, you can go to the task manager (CTRL-ALT-DLTE) and look for process "pyrun.exe" (the python runtime) and kill that, rather than restarting your computer.
