Hi.

you can use "nfsresize" from commandline or as i would suggest:

download the latest "systemrescueCD" start the xfce4 gui and use gparted.
Just in case, backup the data bevore

i've never heard of grap from windoze. what is is.

anyhoo, you can resize with the disk management tool from windoze. but first, you'll need to defrag your existing windoze partition then use disk management to compress the drive (ie move stray data at the lower boundary of the partition up) to avoid problem with windoze, your program, or your data, later on.

you can use gparted from the installation/live cd to increase/move your ubuntu partition. note that you'll have to boot of the installation/live cd/usb to be able to do disk.

if all you want is more storage for your data/files, you can save it on your windoze partition.

No, if you used Wubi it's not a good idea to try to increase the virtual disk beyond what you have. But you don't have to reinstall either. If you are able to create a partition for Ubuntu then you can migrate your Wubi install: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1519354

To create partitions, if you're using Vista/7 then use the WIndows Disk management tools to do this; for XP use gparted (defragging first is a good idea), and boot windows after partitioning to make sure it's OK. (Plus also take backups). PS note you can only have a max of 4 primary partitions - so check this before trying to create a new partition.

Can you help with this problem?
