Ubuntu doesn't boot

I don't know exactly what happened, but I go to boot Ubuntu and when I select it from the boot menu it comes up with file not found: loadfront. any way can fix it? without having to reinstall it?

It sounds like you have 10.04 Ubuntu (Lucid) and you installed through Wubi (windows installer). Your first menu is Windows or Ubuntu - if you select Windows it's fine, but Ubuntu shows error and either hangs or reboots. If this is not true let me know. If it is, then this link, Problem #2, Solution #1 is what you need to do.
