wubi kernel panic: not syncing HELP??

Try rebooting that one again, it had a kernel-panic because something
broke, try again and it might just work, otherwise boot into this
later one, then do uname -r and it should give you something like
this:

vikram@ubuntu-devel:~$ uname -r
2.6.31-17-generic

This is your kernel version, follow this [1] to remove that kernel
